Leaks of conditioned air thru the envelope, or air leaks on a duct passing through an un-conditioned room, not only waste energy, but also cause an unbalance in the air distribution in the rooms. Air leakage testing will be performed by pressurizing the interior rooms, or the ductwork line under investigation. The amount of leaking will be determined by measuring the airflow lost to generate the test pressure. The testing will certify compliance with building code or construction standards.
