When exterior air pressure due to wind driven rain is greater than interior pressure, water will be sucked into the interior side of the curtain wall if cracks on the surface are present. The infiltrated water would be dragged by gravity inside of the cavities to the units below. Water Deluge Testing is performed to determine waterproofing performance of exterior wall. The testing will begin by scanning moisture and performing an impedance survey on the areas of concern to determine readings of dry condition, as well as complete the thermo graphic imaging analysis.
