Foundation Ground Penetrate Radar
|
Structural settling, differential movement, or wall leaning is usually due to failures in the foundation. Inadequate foundation size, lay-out of steel reinforcing, poor soil compaction, or unanticipated major structural loads are among common causes. In order to ensure that the foundation size and reinforcing steel in the concrete was built in accordance to drawings and specifications, a non-destructive mapping of foundation can be performed by using Ground Penetrating Radar technology to determine the spacing and profile of the reinforcing steel, size of the foundation, and voids in the ground.
