Mosture of the deck, and temperature of the surrounding environment is essential for the adhesion of the foam to the deck. Adhesion of the foam roof covering system is essencial to avoid pockets of air under the foam layers that not only reduce the strength of the roof system to resist wind uplift, but also to accumulate moisture on the insulation. Testing of temperature, humidity, adhesion and thickness of foam layers is not only required by Code, it is essential to achieve a durable roof application.
