High Temperature on the wiring can be the result of overcurrent, improper wiring size, or faulty connections. Overheating is a wasting of energy, and can result in a fire hazard. The thermal infrared scanning of the overcurrent devices, service disconnects, panelboard, receptacles, and conduit running inside of the partition walls will provide information about overheating elements that can lead to a fire hazard for the common areas of the building
