Garage concrete slab thickness mapping
Areas of the garage slab with not enough and continuous  thickness, or not enough depth in the reinforcing steel, would crack. This deleterious condition may allow for penetration of chemical contaminants, and moisture in the concrete, causing delaminations and reinforcing steel corrosion, creating a trip hazard and flooding when cracks get large, making the walking areas slippery, and others deleterious consequences on the structure. Ground Penetrating Radar using electromagnetic pulses technology, will map the slab after construction,  providing information about the slab thickness, and reinforcing steel depth.
