Painting Substrate Moisture Iimpedance Testing

Moisture between the painting coats and the substrate will lead to loose of adhesion, and thereafter visible air bubbles. The Impedance Moisture Survey is performed within the areas labeled using the infrared thermographic scanning. Those areas will be marked on 5’x5’ grid patterns with paint, if required by owner. At each grid point, a reading will be taken with the Impedance Meter and will be recorded on letter size sketch.
