Painting Substrate Mmoisture Iinfrared Thermal Testing
|
Moisture between the painting coats and the substrate will lead to loose of adhesion, and thereafter visible air bubbles. Infrared Thermographic scanning is used to map the areas with trapped moisture within wall covering and painting. Suspected wet areas will be outlined on a sketch attached to the report, and in the surface with painting, if required by owner. The scanning will be performed at sunset.
