Pool Deck Railing Posts Pull-Out Testing
Cracks or shrinkage in the pocket grout may impair the performance of the posts embedded into concrete, getting loose as result very soon. This condition will lead to cracks between the post and concrete surface, damaging the grout, water penetration, and corrosion in the concrete steel reinforcing. Pull-Out Tensile Bonding Testing is used to determine the adhesion of the post to the concrete substrate to resist code loads, and forecast lifespan performance.
