Structure Concrete Alkali Silica Reaction Testing
The chemical reaction of Alkali Silica reduces the strength of the Portland Cement in the structure. Alkali Silica Reaction testing to determine active reactions between aggregates with high-alkali content in cement Portland. The testing will determine weather the reaction is deleterious, and as a consequence development of irregular crack patterns are expected in the near future. By identifying this harmful condition in its early stage, facilitates the selection of the proper remediation technique to repair the already damaged areas, and preventing the propagation of this deficiency to the rest of the structure.
