Structure Concrete Moisture Testing
Prior to applying a coating or an overlay on an existing element or floor, testing the dryness condition of the substrate is required to avoid one of the most troubling dysfunctions and causes of deterioration. Excessive moisture in the concrete substrate conducts to changes in volume, and as consequence shrinkage cracking.  Identifying excessive moisture will facilitate the selection of proper remediation technique to repair the already damaged areas, and prevent the propagation of this deficiency to the rest of the structure. The Moisture testing is performed with a non destructive meter that operates by means of  impedance.. The test will be based on guidelines from the American Society of Testing Materials.
