Structure Corrosion Rate Testing
Active corrosion on the steel reinforcing will keep progressing inside of the concrete, escalating the concrete damage, and as result conducting to expensive repairs soon after. The mapping of reinforcing steel corrosion rate in concrete is done by a polarization resistance technique in critical areas of a reinforced concrete element or structure by means of a post-installed sensor. The results of the active corrosion rate testing will facilitate the selection of the proper remediation technique to repair this harmful condition, and preventing the propagation of this deficiency to the rest of the structure.
