Structure Concrete Voids Testing
|
Internal voids in the concrete facilitates the accumulation of moisture and chemical contaminants, reduces its strength, and could impair structural members such as slabs, columns, beams, and walls. Depending of the depth and location of the voids, and the thickness of the structural member, the repair method and incidental temporary support system could vary greatly. The ground penetrating radar system will find the size and depth of the voids inside of the concrete, assess the quality of the bond in overlays, and crack-depth measurement.
