Structure Concrete Water and Air Permeability Testing
Water and Air Permeability test measures the condition of the concrete surface sealing. The ingress of air and moisture into the concrete causes corrosion on the reinforcing steel and lead to deterioration in concrete strength. The testing will determine weather the condition is deleterious, and as a consequence development of cracks patterns and delaminating, and concrete spalls are expected in the near future. By identifying this harmful condition in its early stage, facilitates the selection of the proper remediation technique to repair the already damaged areas, and preventing the propagation of this deficiency to the rest of the structure.
