Threshold Inspection services by RAS Engineering provide independent construction oversight for Threshold Buildings as required by the Florida Building Code. Our licensed Professional Engineers work alongside owners, contractors, and building departments to verify that structural work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable code requirements.
Threshold Inspections are typically required for buildings greater than three stories or 50 feet in height and are designed to enhance public safety by providing additional quality assurance during construction. Our services include review of structural construction activities, inspection of critical building components, documentation of compliance, coordination with contractors and building officials, and preparation of required inspection reports.
RAS Engineering serves as the owner's advocate throughout the construction process, helping identify potential issues early, reduce construction risks, improve quality control, and support successful project completion. We provide comprehensive Threshold Inspection services for condominium buildings, multifamily developments, hotels, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, parking structures, and other large-scale construction projects throughout Florida.
Services may include Threshold Inspection, Special Inspection Services, construction observation, structural quality assurance, Engineer of Record support, permit compliance assistance, final certification, and project closeout documentation.
$5,000 Deposit will be credited toward Engineer hours @ $280 /hr.
